Another player has entered the field. It's the electric company. We have satellite, cable, DSL, and now the common household electric outlet that we stare at everyday of our lives as the conduit for broadband.
What an interesting concept and just in time many people would say. Some have complained that some prices are too high and some service (especially DSL) was not too reliable when it first rolled out.
We could use some more competition some would argue. More companies, more competition, more investment and research into the technology, and more players in the field will only benefit the consumer.
A plan of enrollment has started in the country. Service has begun. Are you interested in connecting faster to the internet by way of your electric outlet? Let us know what you think.
